Open Question: Should states split their electoral votes into districts for the election a la Nebraska and Maine?

Both of these Republican and Democrat strongholds are receiving attention from both campaigns when they otherwise wouldn't (Obama seeks to take Omaha, and McCain believes he can take Maine's more conservative district).
